Shostak (Logarifmicheskaya lineika – Règle à calculs, Odessa, 1885), A. P. Morzhov (Obshchedostupnoe rukovodstvo k schetnoj lineike c prilozheniem chertezha lineiki, Vyatka now called Kirov, 1898), Yu. G. Elenkovskii (Schetnaja lineika. Rukovodstvo eya upotrebleniyu dlya inzhenerov, tekhnikov, torgovtsev, zavodchikov, podrjadchikov, bankirov, schetovodov i t.d., 1900) and M. A. Netyksa (Schetnaja lineika, 1904 & 1914) used Tavernier-Gravet slide rules of Mannheim type as examples.
